PWCC Meets All Standards of CRC

Phyllis Wheatley is proud to be listed in the online Giving Guide of the Charities Review Council’s Smart Givers Network, for meeting all 16 rigorous standards in the areas of public disclosure, responsible governance, financial management and ethical fundraising! The Giving Guide allows potential donors to review the results of independent analysis of an organization’s mission, programs and governance practices to make informed giving decisions. 

Founded in 1924, Phyllis Wheatley provides comprehensive, quality programs in lifelong learning, child development and family support for the diverse greater Minneapolis community. Children involved in Wheatley programs experience success relating to school readiness, education, leadership, communication skills and self-esteem; adults accomplish goals relating to self-sufficiency and personal safety, and learn to better manage their lives and relationships.     

Phyllis Wheatley Community Center is a Greater Twin Cities United Way community partner, a member of the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC), and United Neighborhood Centers of America, Inc. (UNCA).
