BUILDING BRIDGES THROUGH BASKETBALL
This winter, Phyllis Wheatley Community Center invites youth and teens from North Minneapolis to join our second group of kids who will RISE: Building Bridges Through Basketball. One of Phyllis Wheatley's most popular youth programs, RISE aims to teach important skills for life through basketball and to unite youth and law enforcement to break barriers, build trust, and create pathways for positive communication.
Phyllis Wheatley Community Center, with the support of a partnership with RISE, Under Armour, and the NBA, is offers the 10-week program that brings together North Minneapolis youth, pro sports players, volunteers, and members of the Minneapolis Police Department to Build Bridges Through Basketball. The new season starts January 11!
Registration Opens for January Session of RISE: Building Bridges Through Basketball
Youth and teens (11-18) are invited to register to participate in RISE: Building Bridges Through Basketball, a partnership between Phyllis Wheatley, RISE, Under Armour, and the NBA Foundation.
